The Alliance is accepting applications for its language tandem program until October 22.
The CHARM-EU Alliance is launching its language tandem project, which aims to promote linguistic and cultural exchange among students, faculty, and staff at the nine partner universities. ELTE applicants will be paired with applicants from the alliance’s other partner universities so they can build relationships and practice each other’s native languages in an informal setting.
Within the language tandem program, participants can choose between two options: either they are paired with a partner with whom they can practice each other’s native languages (bilingual communication), or with a partner with whom they wish to practice the same language (monolingual communication). The Alliance provides practical tips and materials to facilitate the conversations.
Application deadline: 22 October 2026
