Department of Educational Development
Ildikó Chogyelkáné Babócsy
Head of Department, e-learning expert
I joined the team as an e-learning expert in September 2023, this opportunity is both an honor and an exciting challenge for me. Ever since my college years at ELTE, pedagogy and the relationship between teaching and learning have been important to me, especially from the perspective of how rapidly evolving digital tools can support this process.
In recent years, I have participated in numerous domestic and international teacher training and continuing education programs as a curriculum developer, mentor, course designer, or instructor, gaining a wealth of valuable experience ranging from vocational training to higher education, and from technical support to expert-level tasks. I truly enjoy seeing how, through training sessions, consultations, and discussions, educators find their own path to effectively support their students and learners throughout the learning process in a way that works for everyone. Currently, I am particularly interested in the educational potential of artificial intelligence, as well as learning outcomes-based course design and assessment, and I am eagerly watching how education is transforming in response to technological advancements.

Andrea Berek
training organizer
I graduated from ELTE with a degree in andragogy. The world of learning and education has always been close to my heart. I’ve been working at the university since 2017. I began my career at ELTE as a training coordinator at the Career Center. Among other things, I organized high school graduation exam prep courses, stress management training, and Excel courses, and I was the main organizer of the staff sports week. It felt great to be able to help students get into their desired universities and programs through my work, to support staff in developing their skills and improving their well-being, and to foster community building during Sports Week.
Since January 2025, I have been working in the Department of Educational Development and Talent Support at the Education Directorate. I am involved in the behind-the-scenes work for the EDUFlow Scholarship Program and the Excellence in Higher Education Conference. In the future, I will be organizing self-paced and in-person training programs.

Lídia Fenyvesiné Jászai
methodology expert
As a methodology expert in the Department of Educational Development and Talent Suppöort Development, I can contribute to the achievement of the university’s educational development goals. I would like to build on my previous professional experience to support instructors in their daily work with modern, student-centered teaching methodology solutions. My responsibilities include providing professional support for the development of teaching methodologies, planning and implementing faculty training sessions and consultations, and creating methodological resources, recommendations, and professional content that contribute to high-quality education. I believe that continuous professional development, learning about domestic and international best practices, and the conscious application of digital and blended learning solutions enrich educators’ methodological toolkits in the long term. My goal is to use my work to inspire and support educators in making the teaching and learning experience more engaging, effective, and successful.

I have been working in the Department since 2021. In my role, I provide support for the University’s supplementary e-learning platforms (Canvas, MOOC, Moodle) and related applications and tools (Panopto, Wooclap, Powtoon), and I also actively participate in the development of self-paced courses. I am also responsible for editing the Department’s website section, editing multimedia content (drop-in session trainings, conference presentations), as well as organizing our Excellence in Higher Education conference and editing its abstract booklet.
Currently, as a co-project leader within the Digital Competence Center, I am researching the possibilities for developing personalized learning paths in Canvas, but during my studies I also focused on the use of ICT tools, digital pedagogy, and digital humanities.
