Hello, I'm Aruuke from Kyrgyzstan and I am a self-funded Computer Science BSc student. I read books, especially fantasy. I like riding the bike, and I used to play volleyball. I enjoy any kind of sports.

ELTE is full of a versatile people, and you can learn many things from them

What stood out to you about ELTE?

The fact that a lot of international students from different parts of the world are here at ELTE . Also, the teaching of Computer Science.

What makes studying at ELTE so great?

That ELTE is full of a versatile people, and you can learn many things from them. Also ELTE is in the top 200 universities in Europe, so companies, when it comes to doing your internship often recognise it.

What are / were your challenges in your study program?

The adaptation process. Since I had to adapt to local language, currency, working hours and places, while also learning 3 new programming languages and comleting exams in them.

How did you overcome these challenges?

 I structured my life by planning my days and goals. Also, I scheduled my classes and other activities depending on preparation for my classes and exams.

How would you describe ELTE in three words?

Diverse. Research-orientated. Scholarly.

How do you think your degree will help you in your life and career?

Through my network from ELTE: professors, groupmates. Through my degree, which is accredited around the world. Lastly, through my deep knowledge in my speciality which will help me to get into higher technology projects.

Do you have any recommendations for future students at ELTE?

Explore outside of the University, since there are such beautiful places and people to see in Budapest.
