InSINC_PYI_2026_06_26

This initiative was part of the premiere screening of Gabriela “Toph” Cabrera's degree project. The event was designed as a cultural and artistic evening rather than a traditional film screening. It featured live music and a contemporary dance performance inspired by the themes of the short film, followed by the premiere screening itself. This combination of different art forms created a unique and immersive experience for the audience. The premiere marked the official presentation of the project after months of research, production, and post-production. The event welcomed more than 100 attendees, including students, faculty members, friends, and guests from many different countries, reflecting the international community of the university.

The initiative was received with overwhelmingly positive feedback. Many audience members described the film as deeply emotional and moving, with several people visibly brought to tears by the story. The feedback highlighted the film's ability to resonate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds through its themes of migration, identity, and belonging. The post-screening discussion was engaging and thoughtful, and many attendees shared their appreciation for both the artistic and emotional aspects of the project. The premiere provided a meaningful conclusion to the project, allowing it to be shared with a large and diverse audience in a supportive and celebratory atmosphere.
