Hiking - Pilisborosjenő Hills and relaxing at the Csillaghegyi Árpád Bath
Information on the hiking part:
Escape the city for a day and discover one of the most beautiful natural areas surrounding Budapest. Just a short journey from the capital, the Pilis Hills offer a perfect combination of peaceful forests, unique limestone rock formations, and breathtaking panoramic views.

Meeting & Travel Details
We’ll meet at Göncz Árpád városközpont M3 station, in front of this street food place (see image below), between 9:10 and 9:30 AM and travel together to Pilisborosjenő (30 minutes). The bus leaves at 9:35 AM. Please arrive on time.

COURSE FEE, for students, who register between the 11th May and 15th June 2026: 600 EUR
The course fee includes: tuition fee, course materials, lunches on course days + coffee break, opening ceremony, welcome package and the cost of the leisure time programs, weekend excursions
Maximum number of participant is 20 students/ course. We accept registrations in order.
To ensure the international character of the courses, we can only accept 5 applications per country.
Please NOTE: Because of the lengthy process, we only accept registrations from students requiring a visa until 31 April.

During your two- week course, you will receive 36 hours of academic lessons (90 minute x 3 lessons/ day x 6 days). Teaching methods consits of lectures, group work, discussion sessions, project work and excursions.

COURSE LANGUAGE
The working language of the courses is English. For the understanding of the texts and the discussions in class, a minimum language-level of B2 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) is required.
CREDITS AND CERTIFICATES
Participants will receive ECTS credit points and a certificate if they attend regularly (85 % attendance), participate actively and fulfill all course assignments. Our two- week courses offers 5 ECTS points, which may be accepted for credit transfer by the participants' home universities. Those who wish to obtain these credits should inquire about the possible transfer at their home institution prior to their enrolment. The International Strategy Office will send a transcript to those who have fulfilled all the necessary course requirements and request one.
