The LERU is an alliance of 23 leading European research universities that carry out high-quality educational activities alongside competitive research activities on the international stage. Founded in 2002, the network aims to create a strategic community of universities that lead the way in the improvement of innovation and research, considering the contexts of higher education, the economy, and society. The main goal of the LERU-CE7 initiative is to create joint opportunities for institutional collaborations, taking into account the various levels of challenges and state differences present in different countries.
