Eötvös Loránd University’s International Strategy Office opens applications for the International Student Ambassador Program for the 2026/2027 academic year. The program seeks motivated international students who would like to represent ELTE, share their student experiences, and contribute to the university’s global visibility.
International Student Ambassadors act as authentic voices of ELTE student life and their academic programmes, supporting prospective students through both online and in-person channels. They share insights via the university website, social media, podcasts, webinars, education fairs, campus visits, and meetings with institutional partners, helping future students better understand studying and living at ELTE. Ambassadors receive training, and ECTS credits may also be awarded where applicable. Team-building activities and visibility through ELTE’s official channels are also part of the experience. Please note that this is a voluntary role and not an employment position.
Eligible applicants must be full-time degree-seeking international students at ELTE with active status through the 2026/2027 academic year (and not participating in an exchange program), who have completed at least one semester. Strong English communication skills, good time management, and a friendly, proactive attitude are essential.
Applicants must submit at least one of the following materials, depending on their intended area of contribution. These materials are used for selection and to help define the applicant’s main ambassador focus, while allowing flexibility for cross-participation.
Introduction Video (Video Creators): Applicants submit a 30–40 second video introducing themselves and their ELTE experience. It is intended for candidates interested in creative video content and social media storytelling.
Blog Submission (Bloggers): Applicants submit a 500–750 word blog with photos about their academic and personal journey at ELTE. It is aimed at students interested in written storytelling and content creation.
Recommendation Letter (Student Outreach Representatives): Applicants may submit a recommendation letter from an embassy or faculty member. It is intended for candidates focused on outreach representation roles.
Application deadline: 28 June 2026, 23:59 (CET)
