We are pleased to inform you that Eötvös Loránd University will organize again the Excellence in Higher Education - higher education methodology conference on 4 February 2027, to which all ELTE citizens, students, teachers and experts in higher education are welcome. In the plenary and session presentations, teachers, researchers, experts and students from our university will share their experiences on the transformation and current trends in higher education.

PATHWAYS TO LEARING-CENTERED HIGHER EDUCATION
How do we learn and teach in a rapidly changing world? This year, ELTE’s conference focuses on the challenges and opportunities of rethinking higher education: from the impact of artificial intelligence and the transformation of learning environments to the pursuit of a sustainable university and the development of future-proof competencies. Together, we will explore what student-centered higher education means today, and how the needs of academia, students, and the labor market can be brought into balance. As in previous years, the conference provides an opportunity to share and disseminate the results of ongoing projects, innovations, and developments across the university. We invite everyone who is interested in the future of higher education and eager to exchange ideas and experiences with colleagues.
The session presentations will again this year be broadcast as pre-recorded videos on Teams, followed by a live discussion. As in previous years, the videos will be available later on the MOOC platform of the conference. For the first time in the history of the conference, we are also expecting presentations in English, which will be provided in a separate session.
