Erasmus+ 60 multiplier event about intergenerational education
Erasmus+ 60 multiplier event about intergenerational education
The Erasmus+ 60 project consortium is organising a multiplier event on 31 March 2023, called “How to provide educational offers for senior citizens on the university campus”. The event will be hosted by Mendel University in Brno (Czech Republic) in a hybrid form, so participants can join in-person or online.
The event is implemented in the framework of an Erasmus+ KA2 strategic partnership project, called “Erasmus+ 60”, in which Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) cooperates as a consortium partner. This project aims to help people aged 60 or above reach Higher Education opportunities, either through international studies or mobility, thus raising inclusion and greater cohesion in Europe. The project puts emphasis on involving this generation into the Erasmus+ programme, as well.
During the event, the consortium partners show the results of the first year of the project through the followings:
- workshops on practical demonstrations of seniors education or intergenerational education;
- the presentation of the toolkit for the Third-Age educational practices developed during the +60 project (PR2);
- presentation of the Czech system of Universities of Third Age;
- sharing of experiences.
