WHAT MAKES STUDYING AT ELTE SO GREAT?

The community of students and proffesors. Everyone is ready to help. The professors are friendly but professional. They are always ready to guide you and give you advice.

WHAT ARE / WERE YOUR CHALLENGES IN YOUR STUDY PROGRAM?

In the beginning i struggled because i had classes online (because of covid19) and it was very difficult for me to SOCIALIZe. It was also extremely difficult to find extracurricular activities to participate in that were in english.

HOW DID YOU OVERCOME THESE CHALLENGES?

I was lucky to be in a dormitory so I started making friends there. I would also write to some classmates to ask questions regarding a class and that would spark a conversation and then would we would meet and have a great time. I would reccomend to try make more international friends than only hang out with people from back home because in that way you will develop your english language and actually get to live the study abroad experience. Hungarians make great friends too as they are the ones that will show you the best places and help you when you are in need.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE ELTE IN THREE WORDS?

Prospective, Rewarding, Enriching

HOW DO YOU THINK YOUR DEGREE WILL HELP YOU IN YOUR LIFE AND CAREER?

Definitely! I think it will help me because studying at ELTE was truly an enriching experience. I didnt just learn what's on paper but I also got practical experience and got to network.

DO YOU HAVE ANY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FUTURE STUDENTS AT ELTE?

My reccomendation would be to join as many clubs as possible and attend as many events as possible. It’s the best place to make new friends from different backgrounds and broaden your perspectives and widen your horizons. Always try and go outside of your comfort zone because it always leads you to a new expirience. Go with the flow! You are not alone!
