Course description

Aim of the course:

The scientific bases of psychopathology

contemporary theories and research of major psychological disorders will be studied. The societal implications of mental disorders will be explored. Students will be educated about the types and causes of mental disorders, their assessment, treatment plans and prognosis. Basic interviewing strategies and therapeutic possibilities will be discussed in conjunction with different pathologies.
