ELTE is dedicated to strive for excellence. The Faculty of Education and Psychology includes a crew of excellent professors with many years of experience and knowledge who create the optimal conditions for every student to learn, to grow and to maximize their potential. The program, which combines important and complementary fields (clinical and health psychology), is well known and desirable due to the comprehensive knowledge that it provides as well as the advanced courses and seminars that it offers.

What did you like most about being a student at ELTE?

The personal attention and support provided by the professors, the interesting courses, the freedom to express and challenge myself, the plesant atmosphere and the feeling that everything is possible and the sky is the limit.

What were the challenges in your study program?

Conducting and writing the MA thesis was the most challenging but also the most satisfying process that i have experienced. With the help of my supervisors but also the other professors at the factuly who happily devoted much of their time, I managed to create a successful research thesis which was exactly as I have always aspired. Despite the fact that it was challenging or maybe thanks to that fact, it was definitely the peak of my MA studies.

How do you think your degree will help you in your life and career?

The program gave me a lot of professional knowledge which helps me already and will definitely help me also in the future, during my work as a clinical psychologist. I believe that knowledge is power and my ambition as a psychologist is to use this power and help to as many people as possible. Thanks to the diverse knowledge which the program supplies, I will be able to help to a wide range of clinical populations in different frameworks. Personally, my studies at ELTE were an amazing process which enhance my confidence in my abilities and taught me that I can accomplish all of my aspirations with hard work but also with a positive and calm attitude towards life.

Do you have any advice for future students at ELTE?

Study hard, challenge yourself and don’t hesitate to ask the help of the qualified professors at the university if needed. They will always be happy to assist you. While you are doing all this, don’t forget to enjoy your time and discover all the amazing places, experiences, food and people that the city has to offer.
