Why ELTE?

Budapest was the city I have always longed for! It is a privilege to study at one of the ancient and deeply rooted Hungarian universities. So studying and living in Budapest was my dream, and the dream came true through ELTE, which was the choice that fitted my academic interests and it was one of the best chances that I managed to have recently, that allowed me to experience the excellent Hungarian educational system and to be integrated with the rich and remarkable Hungarian cultural heritage.

What do you like most about being a student at ELTE?

To start with, the teachers are very friendly, helpful and academically highly qualified. The equipments and instrument in science laboratories are great and amazing. Moreover, the environment at ELTE is very peaceful and friendly that helps me to learn, and adds a lot to my academic experience. Besides Chemistry, you can easily feel the Hungarian cultural spirit, history and philosophy which also enrich my social and humanist life experience.

What are the challenges in your study program?

Learning the Hungarian language was the biggest challenge that I should face, so I decided to attend a course to learn the language which made and is still making this experience enjoyable and very useful. On the other hand, it took me a while to understand and to adapt to the Hungarian educational system, but now at the end of the first semester I can say that I’m really satisfied with the final results.
