What stood out to you about ELTE?

ELTE is the top university in Hungary. But more than that, Social Integration Masters is a very unique program, there is no other program similar to this in Europe. ELTE has all of the resources to support my academic success.

What makes studying at ELTE so great?

The study atmosphere and the diversity of the class. I’m always looking forward to every course I have. You might not believe me, but all of the lectures, seminars, discussions, debates, presentations, readings were so interesting which sparks my curiosity to learn more. Moreover, thanks to having classmates from different backgrounds, I learn a lot about their culture and how to interact with different types of people.

What are / were your challenges in your study program?

Social Integration is a very interesting program. To be honest, I did not face any significant challenge in terms of my studies. However, I came to Budapest in the middle of the pandemic. There was a lot of uncertainty, and the classes were held online. Therefore, we did not get a change to have real life interactions and I did not have a real campus experience.

How did you overcome these challenges?

The professors and the staff were really supportive. They initiated several online events for all faculty members. Therefore, we had a chance to get to know all the professors and our seniors.

How would you describe ELTE in three words?

Life changing experience

How do you think your degree will help you in your life and career?

My degree in Social Integration has given me a great understanding in how to navigate in society and also as a professional. This program does not only give me theoretical knowledge, but also practical skills needed in my future career.

When you come to ELTE, I guarantee that this will be one of the best experiences in your life. Take as many opportunities as you possibly can. Explore new places, try new hobbies, new foods, and be friends with people from all around the world. You will be surprised how great your journey will be in Budapest.
