What stood out to you about ELTE?

ELTE being the best university in Hungary, its foundation back in 1635, holding 5 Nobel laureates, and having an outstanding ranking within higher education institutions not just in Hungary or Europe but also in the QS World University Rankings attracted me to join this prestigious institution.

What makes studying at ELTE so great?

ELTE’s location being in the city center of Budapest, an international, vibrant, and friendly environment, with countless opportunities for its students in every field, cooperation and partnerships with other international universities and organizations, the best faculties, understanding and long lasting teacher-student relationships, and cooperative staff make ELTE really amazing and great.

What are / were your challenges in your study program?

I really didn’t face any challenges so far in my study program since I’m blessed with a very good faculty and coordinators.

How did you overcome these challenges?

I believe that good things never come easy so if you’re hardworking, positive, cooperative, honest, tolerant and loyal, then you can overcome any kind of challenge in your life.

How would you describe ELTE in three words?

Outstanding, diverse, cooperative

How do you think your degree will help you in your life and career?

As we are living in a world full of complexities and difficulties, in order to overcome such situations, it is very important to have strong cooperation between states and nations to create peace and make each other more prosperous. Since, I want to become a diplomat in future, International Relations is a perfect match for my interests or of any student who is interested in global politics, states relations, good governance, diplomacy, human rights, INGOs and NGOs, and security studies as a whole. Moreover, the interesting courses offered by my faculty, the Faculty of Social Sciences make my program even more interesting. I firmly believe that my program will help me achieve my goals.

Do you have any recommendations for future students at ELTE?

Be open to learning new things. Make international friends and be on good terms so that they’ll become your family. Stay honest, loyal, positive, cooperative, and hardworking. Enjoy every moment of your life since life is really unpredictable. ELTE provides you the best education, faculties, community, courses, national and international opportunities, and a welcoming, diverse and friendly environment.
