“The openness of the teaching staff made our lives much easier. We could grab a coffee in campus and talk about the course and our future plans in an absolutely friendly atmosphere.”

Why ELTE?

Among the variety of countries, I chose to spend one semester in Hungary due to my complete lack of knowledge about the country, its language and the history. I’ve heard a lot about the beauty of Budapest, thus my choice wasn’t random.

Last but not least, we are neigbours. What did you like most about being a student at ELTE?

The openness of the teaching staff made our lives much easier. We could grab a coffee in campus and talk about the course and our future plans in an absolutely friendly atmosphere.

What were the challenges in your study program?

We had a course of Hungarian civilization where we could discover Budapest visiting museums, theaters or just taking narrow streets in the Jewish quarter.

How do you think your degree will help you in your life and career?

In the current situation the diploma itself didn’t help me to get employed but it definitely opened new opportunities and network in the field of my studies.

Do you have any advice to future students at ELTE?

I recommend taking the Hungarian language course. It helps a lot in daily life.
