What stood out to you about ELTE?
ELTE is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities of Hungary which offers the best program for International Relations students. Additionally, at ELTE you will get high-quality European education which is recognized all around the world.
What makes studying at ELTE so great?
Firstly, ELTE’s list of offered programs and classes are extremely diverse. Anyone can find something close to their needs and wishes. Secondly, ELTE has a highly encouraging and supportive learning environment where you always feel included either in university life or in other activities.
What are / were your challenges in your study program?
International Relations (IR) is a quite broad field where you have to learn a lot of important insights. The first semester was the toughest for me. A new environment, different teaching methods, and the immense workload were hard at first, but you get used to this kind of lifestyle and you feel that the hard work will pay off and will be worth it.
How did you overcome these challenges?
I believe, daily effort in learning the study materials and expanding your knowledge is the key. Of course, having a good social life is also an important aspect of overcoming challenges. Being around similar-minded people to discuss interesting topics and just to hang out and explore new places helps eliminate stress that every single one of us encounters.

How do you think your degree will help you in your life and career?
ELTE’s International Relations BA program equips students with all the crucial skills and necessary knowledge to be successful and feel accomplished in the area of their interest. Furthermore, I believe, ELTE’s diploma will open lots of doors since it is a European diploma recognized everywhere.
Do you have any recommendations for future students at ELTE?
I would recommend being ready for the intense learning schedule. Studying here is not easy and requires a lot of effort. But most importantly, be positive and enjoy your life in Hungary. This country is beautiful with great academic and entertainment opportunities.
