Why ELTE?

To further increase my knowledge!

One of the best reasons to study at ELTE is to further increase my academic knowledge in an incredible, immersive way. I got the chance to learn from the best different academic areas and work with ambitious students from all over the world. Nevertheless, Budapest itself offers many ways to gain your personal growth. Both aspects in combination were my main motivation to study at ELTE.

What do you like most about being a student at ELTE?

One of the biggest benefits of studying at ELTE and embracing an adventure is the chance to meet people from all around the world. When you decide to study at ELTE, you get to see other perspectives and cultures and that is always an interesting and fascinating thing.

What are the challenges in your study program?

For me there weren’t any big problems that could not be solved. At the beginning the Hungarian study system was quite different from the German one. But yet, it is only a question of time to deal with it well.

How do you think your degree will help you in your life and career?

Eötvös Loránd University is ranked as the best university in Hungary, according to the Academic Ranking of World Universities. But studying at ELTE does not only provide me with the opportunity to gain a different perspective about academic subjects, it also gives me another perspective of the way of life.

Do you have any recommendations for future students at ELTE?

Stay curious and expand your views beyond borders! It might sound a cliché to you, but studying at ELTE will make you a much worldlier person, and become a more marketable and understanding person. Studying at ELTE is one of the most eye-opening, mind-bending and life-changing experiences a student can have.

ELTE for me is to get the incredible opportunity to meet like-minded friends and to explore Budapest in its cultural diversity!
