"It's always good to work with people from all over the world to expand our horizons. I could imagine that  this task can be a support for me in the future."

Why ELTE?

ELTE is one of our partner universities. I applied for ELTE because an International Coordinator of my home university recommended it to me.

What do you like most about being a student at ELTE?

ELTE is a huge and international university. I can get in contact with people all over the world. Furthermore, the Faculty of Law at ELTE offers a special study program for international students. So there are a lot of courses in English in small classes.

What are the challenges in your study program?

One challenge at the beginning of my studies was to find the classrooms. My faculty is like a maze and some of the Hungarian buildings have half floors, which is not common at all in Germany. But most of the people at the university can speak English well. In the case I cannot find a room, I always ask the students around me and in the end, they show me the way.

How do you think your degree will help you in your life and career?

It's always good to work with people from all over the world to expand our horizons. I could imagine that  this task can be a support for me in the future.

Do you have any recommendations for future students at ELTE?

Everyone who comes to Budapest should explore the city by walking around in the first time because there are a lot of things to see. The first is the architecture. Every building looks beautiful. A walk at the Danube on a sunny day could be also impressive. For a rest, there are a lot of cozy cafes and restaurants around where it is possible to get some delicious food and drinks for a small price. Everybody should visit “Szimpla Kert”, which is a colorful place where you can drink, eat and dance.
