I. Current call for application (Academic Year 2024/2025)

Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) announces the invitation to apply for Erasmus+ mobility for incoming corporate experts giving lectures at ELTE in the academic year of 2024/2025.

Aim of the call

Goal of the mobility: giving lectures at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary and building relationships between the sending and receiving institution.

When: During the academic year of 2024/2025 (latest possible closing date of the mobility: 30st of September, 2025)

Duration of the mobility: min. 2, max. 5 days

How to apply

You can apply by sending the following documents to the chosen faculty/department via e-mail:

  • CV
  • motivational letter (containing the workplan of the mobility period)
  • letter of acceptance from the faculty/department you wish to visit

Attention! The chosen host faculty/department might require other specific documents for the application.

Application is continuous. Decision within two months of submission.
In order to be informed of the application decision in time and to receive your scholarship before the start of the mobility, you must submit your application no later than the first of the third month before the planned date of departure. If the applicant submits their application at a later date, they are responsible for the consequences of the delay. Applications for corporate expert as lecturer that have already started cannot be submitted retrospectively.

The amount of scholarship

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme incoming staff receive grant support as a contribution to their costs for travel and subsistence during the period spent in Budapest, Hungary, calculated as follows:

  • individual support: Costs directly linked to the subsistence of participants during the activity.
    • from the 1st till the 14th day of the mobility: 110 € / day
    • from the 15th day of the mobility: 77 € / day
  • travel support: One-time contribution to the travel costs of participants, from their place of origin to Budapest and return. Rule of allocation: based on the travel distance from Budapest, Hungary.
    • 10 - 99 km: 23,00 €
    • 100–499 km: 180,00 €
    • 500–1999 km: 275,00 €
    • 2000–2999 km: 360,00 €
    • 3000–3999 km: 530,00 €
    • 4000–7999 km: 820,00 €
    • 8000–19999 km: 1500,00 €

II. For awarded participants - documents before the mobility

The documents need to be addressed in the order mentioned below.

1. Mobility Agreement

The Mobility Agreement - Staff mobility for teaching should be completed and signed by all (three) parties. Please consult your host ELTE faculty/department regarding the completion and signature of the document. A scanned version of the document is also acceptable, but a paper copy with two original signatures must be submitted to the ELTE Erasmus+ office during the mobility period (unless submitted with advanced electronic signatures).

The scanned version of the Mobility Agreement signed be all three parties should be sent by email to the host ELTE faculty/department, who will forward it to erasmus.staff@dep.elte.hu.

2. Insurance

All participants must provide proof of adequate insurance valid for the entire duration of the mobility. The responsible party for taking out insurance coverage is: the participant. The insurance must include health, liability and accident insurance.

3. Form - data declaration for preparing the Grant Agreement

The form can be reached here.

The form must be finalized electronically with the "Submit" button.
If you wish to correct / modify something in the data provided on the form afterwards, please inform us by email at erasmus.staff@dep.elte.hu, DO NOT fill in the form again!

4. Grant Agreement

The pdf version of the Grant Agreement will be sent to the participant by email, tailored to the information submitted on the form. Please read the Grant Agreement carefully and check the information in it! If you find everything is fine, print it out in 3 copies and sign each one with a blue pen.

The 3 signed, original copies of the Grant Agreement prepared by Department of Erasmus+ and International Programmes based on the submitted form, and received by email must be mailed to the Department of Erasmus+ and International Programmes of the Eötvös Loránd University, Directorate of Education (1056 Budapest, Szerb u. 21–23).

The personalized Grant Agreement will be prepared and sent to the participant only after completing steps 1 and 2 completely and correctly, and the Mobility Agreement has been approved by the faculty coordinator and forwarded to Department of Erasmus+ and International Programmes of ELTE (erasmus.staff@dep.elte.hu). The Mobility Agreement will be checked and forwarded, and the personalized Grant Agreement will be prepared within 5 working days of receipt (completion of Step 2). The scholarship is expected to be awarded within 4 weeks of the receipt of the signed Grant Agreement submitted in full according to step 3.  We undertake the above deadlines only in case of complete documentation and completion, if amendation is needed the Grant Agreement will be sent with some delay!

III. For awarded participants - documents after the mobility

Participant shall provide the following documents for closing the mobility:

  1. A paper copy of the Staff Mobility Agreement with two original signatures (if the Agreement has not been submitted before with advanced electronic signatures) submitted to the ELTE Erasmus+ office during the mobility period.
  2. The scanned Certificate of Teaching Activity submitted via email within five (5) days after the end of the mobility period to erasmus.staff@dep.elte.hu.
  3. Confirmation e-mail of the completed EU Survey sent to erasmus.staff@dep.elte.hu: The link of the survey will be sent to the e-mail address of the participant (provided in the form) after the closing date of the mobility. If you can't find the confirmation email, please attach the first page of the completed report.
