The two-week long Seoul International Winter School (SIWS) offers international students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Korean culture and explore various aspects of Korean society.

Key information:

  • Dates: February 5–20, 2025
  • Special Lectures on Korea: Eight lectures covering topics such as K-Pop, K-Drama & Movies, K-Cafes, Food & Drink Culture, UNESCO World Heritage sites in Korea, K-Business, and the Korean economy.
  • Korean Language Classes: Intensive Korean language courses.
  • Cultural Activities: Field trips, welcome and farewell parties, "Design Your Own Seoul" activities, and interaction with Korean peer advocates.

Coordinators at partner universities should nominate their students. Please contact Ms Ildikó Chmara at ildiko.chmara@rk.elte.hu until November 25 at the very latest so there is time to submit the nomination.

Nominated students must complete their online applications until December 10, 2024.
