TRAVELLING IN SOUTHERN AFRICA: INTERACTIVE BOARD GAME

Did you know that South Africa has eleven official languages and three capitals? And that it is the only country to have two Nobel Prize winners who lived on the same street?

If you're interested in the history and culture of the southernmost country on the African continent, join our interactive board game on Researchers' Night! Together, we will explore the history of South Africa in the 20th and 21st centuries and learn about the daily workings of the apartheid system based on racial segregation. Players will also discover gems of South African music, literature and gastronomy.

Coordinators of the program:

Professor Dr. Lili Zách, ELTE Institute of English and American Studies

Lecturer Dr. Kata Gyuris, ELTE Institute of English and American Studies
