EXCERPTS FROM THE LIFE OF EMPEROR JUSTINIAN

The ELTE Latin Department invites to the public lecture by Sara Elazab Hussein (Cairo University).
The lecture will discuss one of the most important emperors who ruled the Roman Empire in the 6th century AD. It will focus on his life, political, legal, and administrative reforms, as well as his key advisors and assistants in governing the empire. Additionally, the lecture will examine his stance on the Germanic elements and conclude with an overview of his death.
